From the South & West- New York, New Jersey, Connecticut:

  • The Beech Tree Inn, Newport Rhode IslandTake interstate 95 North to Exit 3A in Rhode Island

  • Follow 138 East (about 23 miles) & the signs to Newport Bridge - first cross Jamestown Verazzano bridge then Newport (toll) Bridge

  • Take the first exit off the Newport Bridge called "Scenic Newport" & turn right.

  • Take a left at the first light onto Van Zandt Ave - there are several four-way stop signs then Van Zandt intersects Broadway

  • Take a right onto Broadway - go four blocks

  • Take a left onto Rhode Island Ave - just past the Newport Hospital

  • Take a left into the Beech Tree Inn driveway at 34 Rhode Island Ave.

From the North - Boston, New Hampshire-

  • Take 93 South to 24 South

  • Follow Route 24 South until it ends and Route 114 South begins

  • Follow 114 South into Newport where it turns into Broadway

  • Take a left onto Rhode Island Ave - just past the Newport Hospital

  • Take a left into the Beech Tree Inn driveway at 34 Rhode Island Ave.

From Providence / TF Green Airport-

  • Take interstate 95 South to Route 4 South, which is a left exit

  • Take Route 4 South about 10 miles

  • Take Route 138 East to Newport - first cross Jamestown Verazzano bridge then Newport (toll) bridge

  • Take the first exit off the Newport Bridge called "Scenic Newport" & turn right
